Growing up in a town of 1300 I spent a lot of time catching, carrying, throwing, kicking and hitting some shape of ball. I was also the designated family photo taker at any gatherings we had. Snapping shots with my Polaroid, square flash cube camera and Grandma's new compact Kodak camera also occupied some free time that I had between school and sports.

It's no wonder that action, sports and entertainment photography are my first love. No matter what level of sport I am photographing, the emotion that is had at the high school level can not be duplicated.
